Vacancy (London Office) - Maintenance Technician / Trainee Maintenance Technician

At CSTS, we firmly believe in bringing common sense back to health and safety and dispelling the myths that surround the industry today. CSTS operates in four main business areas: Consultancy; Training; Confined Space Support Services, and Equipment Support.

 

As a Maintenance Technician / Trainee Technician reporting to our Hire and Maintenance Manager in this varied role, you’ll take enquiries from clients and prepare simple quotations, in addition to carry out site visits, which can involve inspection of kit and fault identification. Handling deliveries/collections from customers and suppliers, you’ll also take incoming calls at our Enfield office. Other key responsibilities as

Technician / Trainee Technician include: 

  • preparing equipment for tasks.
  • building maintenance
  • delivering tool box talks
  • general Health & Safety.


You must have a full driving licence and the following qualifications would be desirable:

  • Manual handling
  • IOSH working safely
  • Gas detection maintenance
  • CS11R (Rescue)
  • Towing licence
  • Equipment inspections
  • Water hygiene
  • Cylinder charging.


With good literacy and numeracy and strong all-round communication skills, you’re IT-literate and well-organised, with real commitment to continuing professional development. Happy working either alone or as one of a team, you’re a great problem-solver who can understand and implement technical instructions.

  • reliability and trustworthiness.


The working hours for the role are 35hrs Mon – Fri 8:15am to 5:15pm.
